break (lots of hills). When we wanted to start her up again we
realized both batteries were drained.
We managed to get her going with the last bit of juice left in the deep cycle battery. We set up at a campsite
with electricity for the night so we could recharge them both.
This morning we ran some tests and it seems everything points to a
dead generator or regulator. We found a mechanic in Mattawa (we are
mobile) and he confirmed what we thought. Now we have to figure out
how we want to go about fixing it. We're sitting in the yard of the
mechanic eating rice krispies and calling napa stores.
Sounds boring but we're actually having fun :) When we eventually sort
things out we will need to figure out how it will affect the rest of
the trip itinerary. We're glad we didn't book anything in advance!
Francis is also glad he brought all his tools...
Also I noticed when I post using the iPhone the margins and
indentation are all weird so sorry about that.
Other than that no much to report except Mattawa is tiny and we are
happy it's not raining.
