Francis has been spending a lot of time with Lucy this winter!
Here's a short list of what was accomplished:
- Removal of old furniture and carpet
- Floors completely cleaned, covered in POR15
- Installation of B-Quiet sound deadening material.
- Floor recovered in 5/8' plywood ready for the rear carpet and vinyl floor.
- Starting to work on a custom toolbox
- Bench panel completely redone in 11/16' red oak plywood, complete with speaker boxes and a box for the extra battery and charger.
- Panels - custom for the front and restored for the rest
Trip Decisions that were made:
- We won't be buying a TV/DVD player for the trip. Instead, Francis will bring his new laptop along. We can connect the audio to Lucy's sound system for better sound.
- I will be signing up with CAA before we leave so hopefully they can provide us with old school paper maps of scenic routes along the way.
- We will be getting the Rogers Canadian long distance plan. It will cost a maximum of 15 dollars a month and we can get unlimited incoming and outgoing calls to our friends and family along the way.
- We will be bringing the AIRS list with us on the trip. It will come in handy if we have mechanical issues and who knows, we might meet some friends along the way.
